Funny story. Had a spaghetti dinner delivered from my favorite restaurant. Asked for 2 sides of cheese. Got 2 small containers, and just poured it all on the spaghetti. OMG! had to rinse the food 3 times because of pepper seeds or whatever was in the one container. Found out a lot of these places now deliver extra pepper with foods. Ate the dinner but next time will be real careful with containers that come in the delivery.
Oops. I'm guessing there's a lesson to be learned there.
Ouch, been there and done that with packets. Guess it's a good idea to do the sniff test. Plus, if you shake the container, the pepper has a more rattly sound, like bigger pellots, if that makes any sense at all.
Oh man! OWWW! Well, at least you got to eat the dinner.
wow! I'm not sure I would have been able to eat the dinner after that lol.
I might have been able to eat it without rinsing the food; I love hot stuff. I hate cheese, though, so if I accidentally dumped that on my food I wouldn't be able to eat it, even if it was rinsed off.
yum, sounds good, I check my stuff pretty carefully, so it never happens here.
I was once out with a group of people I didn't know that well, and was trying to look all independent and capable... and I drowned my fries in pepper instead of salt... thankfully I'm now really good friends with one of the girls, and every time she passes me sugar for my coffee, we laugh :)
Wow, oops! I wouldn't have been able to eat the food after doing that. Thankfully, I never have done that kind of thing before. Out of the desire *not* to do that, I always test whatever it is before putting it on food.
Lol, I hate cheese too, so I would definitely throw something out if I accidentally dumped a bunch of cheese on my food. Luckily, it has a very distinctive smell, so I don't think I would ever do that. I can see how someone would mix up salt and pepper, though. It's never happened to me, since I'll usually shake a little into my hand before putting it on my food just to make sure I've got the right thing, but it would be an easy mistake to make if you didn't do that first.
Shattered, that's the same test I do with spices or packets of spice like that. I've never dumped the wrong thing on food myself, as I said, but I've seen enough people do it that I learned to be careful. Even sighted people do it. I remember my Dad once dumping sugar packets all over his fries at McDonald's.
Ewwwww, that had to be nasty.
ha, I don't even know how this happend because I'm usually really good about making sure I have the right thing but anyway. I was at a party with my family and we had pizza there along with the ppepper and chese packets, so I randomly just grabbed what I thought was a chese packet and dumped the whole thing in my mouth, come to find out.... it wasn't chese. ahahhahahha, I could barely taste anything for like the next half hour. :d
Well yesterday it being my day off I was doing some of the domestic things, making up a egg salad as the wife had asked.
And you know, now that they have these mayo squeeze bottles that look like mustard? You guessed what I just squirted in the salad.
I don't mind mustard myself but some don't like it. Happens to the best of us.
